MKMMA Week 17a — Being Magnetic
In Haanel, Part 17 / 2, he says, “The vibrations of mental forces are the finest and consequently the most powerful in existence.” On the other hand, I attended an event last week at which an indigenous elder and devoted environmental activist mentioned that our heart is the seat of wisdom; our brain is the seat of the intellect.
I find Haanel and Mandino both emphasize the ultimate power which resides in the mind. Personally, I do think the mind is significant, but there is so much more, for example the heart wisdom that the elder spoke of. Maybe it’s just a matter of the style and tone of their times that makes me read an aggressive energy into Haanel and Mandino. I must say, I appreciated Haanel, in Part 17, mentioning intuition and the potent combination of desire and concentration.
I have been enjoying using my flash cards and coming across my Grace Cards this week. When I see them, I get a little lift. They open my mind to welcoming possibilities beyond my awareness.
I received several gifts of grace recently. Three people who were my customers some time ago all suddenly chose order again. When I receive gifts like that, I feel affirmed. I feel like my work and thoughtful energy are benefiting me. Although I did not consciously contact those three people, I wonder if my energy of intent and openness actually did reach them, and perhaps my focus on serendipity and gratitude is becoming magnetic.
Balance is always so important. In this case, I see the need to balance my active, consistent intent with my increasing ability to rest deeply in feelings of gratitude, receptivity and generosity.
